Custom Senior Portraits

What is Custom Senior Portraits? .... It's anything but with your yearbook 'mugshot", sorry...I don't do those. It's a Portrait Session that is both for the parents and senior. For the senior this means a portrait that defines your personality, your hobbies, your style. If your a football player, a dancer, band member for example bring your gear, outfit or anything else that defines you. Bring an unlimited number of clothing changes, bring any prop from your house (anything that will fit thru my front door that is. If you have a cool car then I'll come to you and we'll make it your backdrop. I'll incorporate all kinds of grungy textures and borders to keep it trendy. For parents this portrait session means a timeless portrait that will hang on your wall for year after year and will always compliment the decor of your home. Remember when i said to bring an unlimited number of clothing changes? Make sure they include clothing that will remain timeless no matter how the trends change. Trust me on this, my mother still has my 20"x24"senior portrait on her wall. It's been there now for over 20 years and guarantee she would turn any cash offer on it, it priceless to her.

E-Session with Jennifer & Eric

The location was Freedom Park, as with a lot of my E-Session's. It makes such a great spot for an Engagement Session, there's a photo opportunity around every corner.

An E-Session plays a very important role when you book a wedding with me. It gives us a chance to get to know each other, by the end of the session, I'll know what your style is and you'll know what to expect from me when your big day rolls around. Most bride's will see me yet again when it's time for their formal bridal...sorry guys, you'll have to set this one out. You'll get to see your then bride's portrait displayed at your reception.

I want to thank Jennifer and Eric for a great shoot over the weekend, you guys were a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to seeing when your big day comes.

Actor Headshots

I had a recent Headshot session with 11 year old Kathryn who was recently signed with top notch Talent Agency. She was really outgoing and definitely not afraid to be in front of the camera. She had the wonderful ability to change expressions from one shot to another with little on direction. I foresee great things for Kathryn as this young talent is about to be introduced to the world.

Custom Framing is available!

I have recently added custom framing to my product line. I have special software that will allow me to take your very own images and sort through hundreds of available frames and mats. This is an especially nice feature because it eliminates any guess work on choosing a frame for your heirloom portrait. What you might think a is good choice may change everything once you your actual portrait in an actual frame but not to worry, there are hundreds of available choices and all are commom to standard portrait sizes.

I will professionally mount your portrait in your chosen frame at no cost, I spent nearly 3 years as a custom framer so your finished heirloom will be ready to hang.

Amy & Brian's E-Session at the Beach

As with most of my wedding packages, Engagement Sessions are included. Amy & Brian decided for a destination location...Charleston, SC. What a great location, you got beaches on either side and the wonderful downtown area of Charleston.

We meet early Sunday morning about 6:15 AM, the temperature was around 33 degrees and of course the wind was constantly blowing. Amy & Brian were real troopers, as you can see them in their flip-flops and minus the big parkas that would have felt so nice but what kind beach portrait would that be right?

We started our session around 6:30AM and soon the sun began rising over the horizon. Cold and windy nevertheless, it was breath taking. We finished up our session on the beach with some big blue skys and headed on down to Charleston to wrap up our session. I felt it very importrant not to ever give them the impression that I was in some sort of rush, I wanted Amy & Brian to enjoy their time as much as I was. Although we all worked really hard to get the best out of our session it still remained an easy going and layed back session and we all had a wonderful time.
